Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He has made major global inroads into the Latin pop mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu (his popular hit song from 2016) won a Colombian Kids Choice Award, the 2017 most popular Song. The year 2017 saw the release of ADN which was his debut long-player to La Industria Inc. in Medellin. It peaked at number eight at the top of the Top Latin Albums chart. Vaina Loca was one of the Top Five hit for Ozuna as well as him the year following. Mala Influencia came out as his collaboration with Noriel in the year 2020. Following that year, Dopamina became his second album. Later, in 2021, he sang a duet in 2021 along with TINI on her hit song Maldita Foto. The 2023 album of 2000 which featured the smash hit La Bachata. Turizo was a member of the musical home of his family. Both his younger brother and his mother are both musicians. He has said in interviews that music was a necessity. As a child, he was taught how to play the piano, guitar and the ukulele. Although his first career choice was becoming veterinarian but his brother Julian encouraged him to start studying singing with a Cuban. It changed his entire life.
