Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson born to British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby & Chris Watson in Paris, France. At the age of five years old when she left for Oxfordshire and attended the Dragon School. Emma always had the desire to become an actor since she was six. She studied at Stagecoach Theatre Arts in Oxford, an acting school which offers classes for part-time students. As early as age ten, she took part as the lead in numerous Stagecoach Productions and School Plays. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) the 2001 version of J.K. Rowling's bestselling British book was released in 1999. Agents for casting found Emma via her Oxford theater teacher. David Heyman informed Emma, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint following auditions for 8 times. They were chosen to play the three lead characters Hermione Gringer Harry Potter Ron Weasley. Emma's first cinematic appearance was with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in 2001. It was the year's top production, and it broke records at the opening and the very first weekend. It was highly acclaimed by reviewers, and so were the performances of its three actors. The Daily Telegraph, a well-read British newspaper, was awed by her for her outstanding performance. Later Emma was shortlisted for five awards for her role in the film and was awarded the Young Artist Award for Leading Young Actress in an feature Film.
